Located roughly 6 miles outside of Boston, Brookline is a community of just over 60,000 residents. Brookline is an urban town entirely surrounded by the city of Boston, bordering the neighborhoods of Allston, Brighton, Jamaica Plain, and Fenway. Its vibrant town centers — including Coolidge Corner, Washington Square, and Brookline Village — are among the most walkable suburbs in the nation, served by three separate branches of the Green Line streetcar.
