FRED LOWERY
Senior VP, President, Life Sciences Solutions and Laboratory Products, Thermo Fisher
A dynamic corporate leader, Lowery has spent over 20 years launching innovative products, developing operating teams, overseeing acquisitions and leading Fortune 500 companies to profitable growth. He currently heads the Life Science and Laboratory Products businesses for Waltham-based Thermo Fisher Scientific, a $25 billion company with over 75,000 employees across the globe. These businesses provide a portfolio of reagents, instruments, equipment, consumables and chemicals used in biological and medical research, discovery and production of new drugs and vaccines as well as diagnosis of disease. Lowery joined Thermo Fisher in 2005 and has held numerous leadership positions in his tenure at the company. He currently serves on the board of directors at DuPont, the Boston Renaissance Charter Public School board of trustees, and is a member of the Tennessee Tech University board of trustees.
