JAY KIM

COO, Foundation for MetroWest

Kim serves as the COO at the Foundation for MetroWest, leading the day-to-day operations for the nonprofit organization that connects philanthropic opportunity with demonstrated need at a hyper-local level. He was instrumental in developing Impact Metrowest, which provides clear and accessible data to nonprofits, businesses, and community members in order to identify the greatest opportunities for change to ensure MetroWest is a great place to live and work for all residents. In response to COVID, Kim and his team have raised and distributed over $3 million in emergency funding to help nonprofits in MetroWest provide essential support to the most vulnerable people in our community. Prior to joining the Foundation for MetroWest, Kim spent time in fundraising and philanthropy for The Boston Foundation, Target, Fannie Mae Foundation, and AmeriCorps. He began his career as a corps member at City Year Boston. He also serves on the board of the Newton-Needham Regional Chamber.
