Becoming the chief student development officer at Babson College just this past summer, Ward establishes and implements institutional priorities, strategic plans, and an organizational philosophy that strengthens student success and the student experience across all undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs. Ward collaborates with the dean of the college and faculty to advance academic strategy and provide greater intentionality and continuity in the learner experience. Prior to this new role, he served as vice president for student affairs & dean of students, and supported and championed intercollegiate athletics, BabsonArts, community standards, health and wellness, multicultural and identity programs, public safety, religious and spiritual life, residence life, student affairs administration, student engagement, and crisis and emergency response. Ward is currently teaching doctoral-level courses on leadership and crisis management in the higher education division and mentoring enrolled students during their dissertation journey at the UPenn Graduate School of Education.
