NATASHA ESPADA

Founder & Principal, STUDIO ENÉE architects

An accomplished architect with over 25 years of design and construction expertise, Espada is the founder and principal of STUDIO ENÉE architects in Needham. Her work spans both renovation and new construction for institutional, civic and commercial clients. She is currently president of the Boston Society of Architects/AIA. As an industry leader and outspoken advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion within her field, she has presented at numerous local and national conferences including the 2019 AIA Women’s Leadership Summit. The curator of the Women in Design exhibit, Urban Interventions: Women Designing in Boston, she is actively working to make Boston a Design City by bringing design and art to all neighborhoods in Boston. She is an adjunct professor at Northeastern University and has been a design critic and lecturer at numerous colleges and universities. In her hometown of Needham, she serves on the Committee for Green Communities and the board of the Permanent Public Building Committee.
