Event FAQs

How do I receive notifications about upcoming events?
Sign up for our email newsletter. You can also select to receive targeted updates for webinars, young professionals series, women’s impact network, networking events and more.

 

Can I see who else is attending an event before I register?
As a member benefit, many networking events show an attendee list. Log in to your member portal to view.

 

Do I need a ticket?
No, we do not provide actual tickets for events, but do ask that you preregister (many of our events will sell out.) You’ll receive an email confirmation and a reminder email before the event. Then, just check in at registration when you arrive; we’ll have a name tag ready for you.

 

I’m not getting confirmation or reminder emails.
Check your spam/junk folder and add info@charlesriverchamber.com to your safe senders list. If you still don’t receive it, contact info@charlesriverchamber.com with the event name and the email you used to register.

 

Are events accessible? Can I request accommodations?
We aim to host events in accessible spaces whenever possible. If you have an accommodation request, please contact events@charlesriverchamber.com in advance and we’ll do our best to help.

 

What’s your refund policy?
We do not offer refunds unless specifically noted on the event page. However, you may transfer your registration to another guest.

 

Can I bring a guest who isn’t a member at the member price?
Member pricing is for members only. Some events may offer limited guest options (or ticket bundles) as noted on the event page.

 

My company is a member, but I’m not able to register or access member pricing.
This usually means your email isn’t linked to your company’s membership record (or the membership is inactive). Email or call us with your name, company, and the email you’re using to register, and we’ll help update your account.

 

I’m not a member yet—can I attend networking events?
We allow non-members to attend up to three networking events while getting to know the Chamber. After that, membership is required to continue attending our networking functions.

 

I’m not a member yet—can I attend members-only events?
Sometimes we allow a limited number of prospective-member spots if space permits. Contact membership@charlesriverchamber.com and we’ll confirm options.

 

Can I get a receipt?
Yes. Your confirmation email typically includes a receipt. If you need another copy you can download via the member portal or email us to request.

 

Virtual Events

Are AI bots or meeting assistants allowed?
No. Automated bots (including note-taking bots) are not permitted.

 

Will I receive a recording?
Most of our virtual events are recorded. Registered attendees will receive the recording after the event via email. Members can also access our webinar library archives anytime through our member portal
