Food Pantry Manager, Newton Food Pantry

Daniels is the first full-time employee with the Newton Food Pantry, previously an all-volunteer-led nonprofit organization serving individuals and families experiencing food insecurity. In her role as pantry manager, she is the organization’s operational leader, managing the complex day-to-day logistics required to serve the growing number of clients. A graduate of the University of North Texas with a B.A. in social work, later followed by a diploma in culinary arts, she has merged her talents in food and hospitality by bridging the gap for communities to access affordable and fresh foods. Before her current role, she served as the culinary director with the Edgerley Family South Boston Boys and Girls Club for six years. During her leadership, the South Boston club established its first in-house meal program serving hundreds of youths daily
